At the conclusion of a days trekking, I remember resting by this bank and taking this picture - and feeling as sublime as the photograph suggests. It seemed as if the waterfall in the distance was draining from the setting sun and flowing warm and soft to where I stood. I’ve never been baptised – well, at least not in living memory – but I felt baptised in that moment. I would that I could have frozen that moment as the photograph does and could have stayed there.
