Loch Eriboll and Ard Neackie Scotland. Loch Eriboll is a sea loch on the North coast of Scotland in the county of Sutherland, steeped in history of all kinds but especially naval during WW2. Ard Neackie is a rocky promontory connected with the mainland by a sandy spit, known as a tombolo. The house was used by the ferry keeper when a ferry used to operate across the loch, the other structure near the pier is a set of no longer used lime kilns.
