Pan Am Douglas DC3C print
Douglas C-47B s/n 20806 (c/n 4193) was built in Long Beach, CA in 1944 for the U.S. Army. It has been restored in the colour scheme that Pan American Airlines had in use at that time. Seen here landing at Prestwick Airport, Scotland. One of 15 DC-3/C-47/DaKkota aircraft to have made the journey across the Atlantic to take part in the 75 years commemoration of the D Day invasion on the beaches of Normandy.
