Tower Bridge - Shad Thames view canvas
Shad Thames view of London's iconic 19th century-built Tower Bridge. The outer brick cladding was changed to harmonise with the nearby Tower of London by George D Stevenson who took over the project after the death of architect Sir Horace Jones. Construction began in 1886 and it was opened by the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, in 1894.
