This windmill (in Biggekerke, The Netherlands) was built in 1712 by the town of Vlissingen and was originally being leased for 7-year periods. The Olbertijn family bought the mill from the town in 1792 and it was subsequently sold In 1852 to Mr. Brasser. It has stayed in the Brasser family since then, and now Adrie Brasser and his son Sjaak are the sixth and seventh generation that upholds the tradition of wind milling. The mill is one of the few that remained in operation since it was made.
