Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).

This image was taken on a very blustery day in January with the North Sea crashing into Tynemouth Pier. Work on the pier was started in 1854 and it was originally curved, but storm damage to the central part of the pier led to it being re-built in a straight line. The image has been converted to black and white to emphasise the drama of the scene.
