Every time I observed this small band of wild horses from the Palomino Buttes Herd in Oregon, grazing gave way to playtime between the two brothers, Traveler (2015) and Pallaton (2014). Sometimes it was roughhousing, or maybe a bit of nuzzling, or in this case a game of chase. The herd consisted of the two brothers, their mother Bella, The band stallion whose name I don't know, and another bay mare who sadly seemed like the outsider much of the time.
