Miniature Blast Furnace acrylic
Redcar blast furnace in miniature. The blast furnace is now abandoned due to competition from other countries. The closure of the blast furnace was a major blow to the area. However most workers from the furnace have now found jobs in other areas. Using the technique called tilt-shift, the eye is fooled into believing the area in focus is a miniature version of a full scale scene.
