There are many boat tours around Assateague Island. I opted for Captain Dan's, a smaller operation and was very pleased. My main goal was to see the ponies, but since I was also taking my niece, I opted for the sunset tour by Captain Dan. I liked that it wasn't the biggest tour on the island and the boat's Captain was Captain Dan's father.
