Tommy Legs lighthouse (or Lees Scar as also known) has probably become my favourite lighthouse to photograph on the Solway Coast, West Cumbria in northern England. I love it's position, sometimes accessible at low tide, often cut off by water, and always a preferred roost for cormorants! It's structure isn't particularly traditional, and I like how that contrasts with the coast's weather system so nicely whatever the skies and the seas are doing.
