St. Andrews Church, Darjeeling canvas
Built in 1843 and Rebuilt in 1873, this one is an old Anglican church with colonial architecture. St.Andrew’s church surely impresses every visitor. The church was built under the supervision of Captain Bishop in the year 1843. Many Scottish soldiers, Britishers and tea planters living in the Darjeeling area were the early worshipers of this church. Though the church was badly damaged by an earthquake, it was rebuilt in the year 1873.
