Elm Hill Norwich canvas
Elm Hill is a very old street in Norwich, named after the elm trees that used to line it. There is evidence to suggest it existed around 1200 AD. Many of the buildings were destroyed in a fire so the buildings still standing do not pre-date 1507. Norwich is a beautiful city pretty much throughout but this area is particularly lovely with its old world charm, antique shops and galleries, you can feel the history.
