Corfe Castle and Railway Station canvas
A view of the fabulous Corfe Castle in Dorset from Corfe railway station. Corfe Castle is a Norman castle sitting above the picturesque village of Corfe. The castle was partially demolished during the English civil war, and remains as a romantic ruin looking down on Corfe. Corfe Castle railway station was closed by British Rail in 1972, but is now run as a heritage railway by the Swanage Railway. Steam trains now run on this line.
