A pleasant picture of the riverside at Connoh’s Quay. A residents boat languishes at its mooring whilst dereliction is apparent in the background. The muddy river bank shows the effects of the recent bad weather, whilst the sun just breaking through from behind the clouds lifts the picture up for the viewer. In the distant background can be seen the structure of the Flint bridge which crosses the River Dee.
