Lancasters climb out of the winter murk over Lincolnshire at the start of another mission in 1943 - with the last of the winter sun painting the ground below. A settling down period for the crew as the long climb to the operational height of 24,000ft would take about an hour. With a typical bomb load of 14,000 lbs and fuel of 2,100 gallons the Lancaster was not exactly sprightly in the first hour any mission but was capable of deep penetration into central Europe, 10hrs flight time not unusual

Black Frame – Black brushed finish.
Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).
Teak Frame – Teak “antique” smooth woodgrain finish.
White Frame – White brushed finish.
Grey Frame – Grey woodgrain finish.
Silver Frame – Silver brushed finish.
Gold Frame – Gold brushed finish.
Black Frame – Black brushed finish.

Standard Fitting – Order is professionally put together with tape holding picture in place.
Dry Mount Fitting – Picture is printed on the mount board to prevent image from “rippling” overtime due to changes in temperature and moisture.
