Dakota - DC3 print
This DC3 started life in the Boeing factory in 1942 - shipped to the US 8th Air Force in 1943, almost certainly took part in the D-Day operations and was sold on to Finland in 1948. Operated by Finnair and then as the Finnish President’s personal aircraft until 1985. Although the logbook records well over 38,000 hours flying time the aircraft is maintained in magnificent shape and a perfect study for photographers.
