Saharan sunset taken whilst on a recent offroad motorbike tour of Morocco. I am hoping this is simple but striking. It was getting dark and we were following a GPS waypoint, which marked an interesting place to camp, when I looked in my mirror and saw this. I immediately stopped to capture the scene. We were aproximately 24 miles South of Foum Zguid and 15 miles North of the Algerian border at this point and rode just a little further before we stopped and slept beneath the stars.
