Boat Graveyard, Bowling, Scotland canvas
Bowling is a small quiet village situated on the River Clyde, Scotland not far from estuary. The village is the location of the western terminus of the Forth and Clyde Canal, opened in 1790, and it is the western gateway to the Lowland canals. The photograph shows the former basin (presumably) where many once proud crafts have been abandoned and left to decompose.
