Mountain Valley on a rare overcast day in Gran Canaria. The lack of vegitation on the slopes lends itself to creating an almost desert landscape, with the only green vegitation growing at the valley floor where water sometimes flows. Taken with a fisheye lens from a ridgetop, the valley is about 2000 feet deep at this point. Another example of the views that await the bolder tourists who venture away from the well trodden resorts along the island's coastline.
