A family of swans swam passed at Millers Crossing Bridge at Exeter, a pedestrian & cycle bridge, crossing from Bonhay Road just upstream from Blackaller Weir to the Flowerpot Playing Fields. The bridge built in 2002, is 54 meters long. It is a cable-stayed type of bridge. The most interesting feature of its design is the anchor to which the cables are attached, this is in the shape of 2 large circular millstones, a reference to the many mills that formerly operated along this stretch of the Exe
