The decaying remnants of a colliery track and equipment, including iron wheels from an old Chaldron wagon, still litter the rocky beach of Seaham. These wheels were once part of a train used to dump mine spoil into the sea. Their rusted surfaces stand in stark contrast to the crashing waves and rocky landscape.
