Ha'Penny Bridge Dublin an Impressionist View picture board
Ha'penny Bridge spanning the River Liffey in Dublin, Ireland. This iconic bridge was constructed in 1815 and was originally named the Wellington Bridge after the Duke of Wellington who was born in Dublin. It's official name is the Liffey Briidge, the name Ha'penny arising because of the toll that was originally charged for its use. It is made of cast iron, forged in Shropshire and transported to Dublin in 18 sections!
