Of course, much as I continually cite the significance of the mountains as being the scenic backdrop to the Rockies – so are the trees. I was glad to capture this picture therefore, whilst driving away towards Calgary to catch my flight home, the trek complete, as it seems to me it puts the trees rightfully in their place – as owners of the foreground, which often they were.
