Sneaky Stair: St Peter’s Seminary (Cardross) canvas
It would not be hard to imagine this picture being from some ancient Scottish tower house or castle – and that just goes to show, that the architects who designed this building – Isi Metzstein and Andy MacMillan - knew their references. They knew that the past matters. This was certainly one of their most enduring lessons. Seems obvious really - as an architect, you should understand the context within which you build, IE: know your history……
