I’m rather proud of this picture – I took it on the first day trekking the Great Wall, my first attempt at trying to capture the wall. I was aware that an issue would be how to get everything into a relationship with everything else: the foreground, the mid ground and the distance – and with only my phone. Framing the composition was going to be interesting……anyway, this was my first relatively successful attempt. That a breeze came up and brought the flag into play I took to be a sign…
