It's a late Autumn evening and the sun is setting on the Severn Valley Railway as Britannia hauls a teak set of coaches from Arley towards Bridgnorth. A black and white image of 70000 Britannia, built in 1951. It was the first of 55 Standard Class 7 locomotives built for British Railways and was withdrawn from service in 1966. Britannia pulled the funeral train of King George VI from King's Lynn, Norfolk to London following his death in February 1952 at Sandringham House.
