A black and white image of Hall Class locomotive no 4965 Rood Ashton Hall pulling the Red Dragon special through Gloucestershire en route to Cardiff. This locomotive was built at the Great Western Railway Swindon Works in 1929 and is now preserved at the Birmingham Railway Museum. The museum bought this locomotive from a scrap yard in Barry, South Wales as number 4983 Albert Hall and then found it was the wrong one! Black Frame – Black brushed finish.
Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).
Teak Frame – Teak “antique” smooth woodgrain finish.
White Frame – White brushed finish.
Grey Frame – Grey woodgrain finish.
Silver Frame – Silver brushed finish.
