Tommy's Reflection canvas
A poignant installation by Ray Lonsdale titled "Tommy at Seaham" commemorating the bravery of servicemen during WWI. The towering statue of a soilder, Tommy, stands vigil on the spoils of the seaside and battle waves, with a poppy flower flora red resting on his lapel. The statue, known as the Angel of the North in Sunderland, is located in Durham City and serves as a lasting reminder of the sacrifices made by British Army personnel in the 1101-day long mission against the German army.
