Sea View From Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge canvas
Looking down from Carrick-A- Rede Rope Bridge the colours of the sea and rocks were amazing. This location is used in Game of Thrones and you can understand why with such a superb scenery. Carriage-a-Rede means The Rock in the Road. Fishermen saw it as an obstacle for the migrating Atlantic salmon as they searched for the river in which they were born. Salmon have been fished here since 1620. The first rope bridge was erected in 1755 that joined the mainland to Carrick-a-Rede Island.
