Tides out on the famous Kames Bay beach and a group of children enjoy the clean sand. Over the years this has been the site of extensive research by students from around the world who attended Marine Biology courses at the now closed Marine Research Station, which was less than a mile from the beach. This extensive beach provides excellent and safe pleasure for the many water based activities including swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding.
