Forced Aura – Quiraing lone tree, Isle of Skye Sun canvas

So this photo was taken on the Isle of Skye at a place called the Quiraing at a height of over 1700ft and this little lone tree added some lovely foreground interest in my attempt to catch a sunrise. The sun rose over the horizon and to be honest it wasn’t much to write home about but then the clouds started to slowly descend and when they met the same height as the sun they forced the light to spread the most amazing burst of orange glow over all the rugged land below me. Phenomenal to witness
