Rattray Head Lighthouse canvas
Rattray Head Lighthouse seen as you approach through the sand dunes. It is positioned between Peterhead and Fraserburgh and was designed by David Alan Stevenson, built in 16 months work begun in 1892. At high water it is covered to a depth of 7 feet but it is possible to walk ashore when the tide is out, it is 120 feet above the rock.
