Suilven, a fantastically shaped mountain which rises out of the rocky and loch dominated terrain of Assynt in Sutherland in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. The Matterhorn like summit of Meall Meadhonach seen in the photograph is the slightly smaller of the two major peaks on the near mile and half ridge of the mountain. Splendid views of the surrounding landscape are to be had from along the ridge but especially this one from the highest point of the mountain.
