On the Pacific Crest trail before dawn with not much hope of shooting because it was fogged in. I stopped by this little pond to think and suddenly the fog began to part and sun peeked through. I grabbed my gear and framed this shot. I was pleased to see the effect which had me beleiving the lone branch was floating of the clouds. The mist was rising off the lake and the clouds were moving fast. A sort of surreal mountain moment if there is such a thing. Washington, reflection, storm, sunrise
