This beautiful fishing coble was pictured outside the RNLI building at Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland on a blustery October morning. The Coble is a type of open fishing boat developed in Northumberland and is still in use today for inshore fishing although not in the same numbers as in days gone by. The coble is dressed in red and yellow, the colours of the Northumberland Flag and the 12th century church of St Bartholomew can be seen in the background..

Black Frame – Black brushed finish.
Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).
