The Sun is rising behind the old Railway Bridge , spanning the banks of Firth of Forth . The pier in North Queensferry has been long used for a ferry crossing before the construction of the Bridge . It is said that the Queen Margaret first used the boat, crossing here on the way to Edinburgh in 11th century there, Mary Queen of Scotland later too .
