Hartlepool's Forgotten Wooden Pier picture board
A haunting image of Hartlepool's once vibrant wooden pier now abandoned and derelict. The artist's unique perspective captures the cold, smooth and sandy shoreline of the Teesside coast as the waves glide towards the shore. The pillars stand as a reminder of the pier's history, once used to transport magnesium from the nearby Steetley Magnesite factory. The artist's use of a toned black and white filter adds to the eerie and mysterious atmosphere of this scene.
