Lincoln Castle canvas
Lincoln Castle paddle steam ferry built in1941served until 1978 between hull and new holland on the humber. she spent her retirement years as pub and a reseraunt. sadly dispite a long campaigne to save her she was broken up in alexandra dock in grimsby in 2010. this image shows her not at her best as demolition work had already begun when i took this photo, part of the wheel house is missing. this probably represents one of the last recognisable photos of this elegent lady of the humber
