The Grot is a small hut built especially for viewing the waterfalls of Rydal Beck in the Lake District. It dates back to the 17th Century, part of the 'Picturesque' movement. The Grot was heavily used by artists in the following centuries. It also features in the early poem by Wordsworth 'An evening walk' (not one of his famous ones for good reason). Black and white/monochrome picture with subtle copper toning taken in April 2017.

Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).

Silver Frame – Silver brushed finish.
