Aberdeen in the rain - B&W canvas
Aberdeen’s Mercat Cross (built 1686) in the Castlegate, originally the site of Aberdeen Castle Gates until its destruction in 1308, in Aberdeen, Scotland, located centrally at the east-end of the city’s main thoroughfare, Union Street. Just left of centre is the New Town House (built between 1868 and 1874), the headquarters of the City Council. In the centre, on the corner of Castle Street and King Street stands the old North of Scotland Bank (built 1839-42).
