Men an Tol - meaning holed stone in Cornish. The lighting conditions and sinking winter sun enabled me to capture the scene as I imagined viewed by the ancient people of Cornwall. This stone formation is believed to be from the Bronze age. Legend has it passing through the stone's hole has healing properties, or possibly the gateway to another world. This is the only holed stone formation in Cornwall with public access, located at Carn Galver mine - Rosemergy (St Just).
