The old boathouse on the banks of Llyn Dinas in Snowdonia national park North wales. The lake can be found just to the north of Beddgelert village. It takes its name from nearby Dinas Emrys, a rocky wooded hillside just downstream from the lake. A rock near the lake called Carreg yr Eryr or the stone of the eagle was noted in the 1198 charter to mark the boundaries of three cantrefs meet, Aberconwy, Ardudwy and Arfon.
