Tide Coming In on the Yorkshire Coast acrylic
The North Sea tide coming into the shore at Skinningrove, a small village on the Yorkshire Coast between Saltburn and Whitby. The village was once at the centre of mining activity and heavy industry in the area but is now going through some regeneration. It has special meaning for me, as it's where my father grew up and played on the beach as a lad!
