The Matthew canvas
In 1497 over 500 years ago, John Cabot and his crew set sail for Asia aboard the original Matthew hoping to trade goods and commodities with the people who lived there. This is a replica of John Cabot’s ship which was built and is based at Bristol Harbour next to the SS Great Britain. I took this shot on one of my many trips out with my trusty Fuji 10.2 Camera. I then cut it from the original frame and turned the original black and white and then used a bump map filter over the top.
