AfterSummer Solstice Sunset at Saltburn by the Sea print
Saltburn Pier on the Yorkshire coast is the last surviving pier in Yorkshire. It is now a Grade II listed building. Originally opened in 1869 the pier was 1,500 feet long but now only extends to 1,100 feet after damage in the 1970's. It boasts unique Victorian water powered cliff lift. The picture shows the tide coming in shortly after sunset on the evening of the Summer Solstice.
