Historic Brayford, Lincoln (watercolour) acrylic
The Brayford Pool in Lincoln, built by the Romans as a port to service the City of Lindum Colonia, remained in use as a busy cargo port into the 20th Century. Today it is a parking lot for hundreds of small private motor boats, overlooked by the modern university. This is a sepia watercolour rendering of the freight barges and warehouses as it used to be.
