This is the ridge that can be walked from Mam Tor. It overlooks Hope Valley on one side and another valley on the other. The dry stone wall can be seen dividing the snow covered grass from the lower snow free grass. The top of Mam Tor had a covering of light snow, but further in the valley it had melted under the rising sun which was giving a warm glow to the landscape. Rolling hills and fields can be seen n the distance.
