Seascan, Mevagissey Cornwall canvas
Seascan was built by the famous Scottish yard Alexander Nobles and sons in 1962. She was a research vessel and finished her working life as a fishing boat. She is larch planking on oak frames and is powered by a 6lxb Gardner engine. She is currently moored up in the famous still functioning fishing harbour of Mevagissey, near St Austell in Cornwall, UK.
