Mylor Bridge canvas
Mylor Bridge in autumn. Mylor Bridge, the actual bridge, not the village named after it, was widened to what you see here in about 1960. Before it was widened there was only room for one vehicle to cross it. Now two can pass over at the same time even if it is often a squeeze now transport has got bigger and broader. Originally built in 1590, it formed part of the main route fbetween Truro, the capital of Cornwall and Penryn, a major town at the time.
