The softened colors of a cloudy late afternoon on Swiftcurrent Lake were beautiful. In the distance, rises Apikuni Mountain, partly hidden by clouds and Many Glacier Hotel, a wonderful lodge first opened in 1915. I titled this, Where the Bears Roam, as the bears do like to forage, probably for grubs on the sides of this mountain. We saw two black bears turning over rocks, and also a grizzly moving quickly across the face of the mountain and reappearing on the other side to come down and cross
